GOOD ON YA MATE, GOOD TO SEE ANOTHER LOONEY WHO WILL SWAP A MINI FOR ANOTHER MINI. NEVER WORRY ABOUT WHAT SOME OF YOUR FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY ie "ISN T THE SAME AS YOUR LAST CAR" or "YOU COULD HAVE BOUGHT A WRX / COMMODORE SS FOR THE SAME MONEY" or "WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE LAST ONE"etc.
IM ON MY THIRD NEW MINI 1 X MC & 2 X MCS''s & LOVED EVERY ONE OF THEM. AND JUST FOR THE RECORD I VE OWNED THE OTHER TWO CARS MENTIONED & WAS NOT IMPRESSED BY EITHER CAR.

Thanks everyone, so far the car is good, much better build quality than the MC.
I've been too busy to do much driving but yesterday with temperatures around 39 it stumbled a lot on take off.

Looks great, Mike. Check to see that you have V36 upgrade. Only released in Australia last week and yours may have missed it. Not sure if they remap in pre-delivery. Had mine done last Friday and so far no stumble ...

lets hope it stays that way.

The S has Rain Sensor, Leather, tints and Harmon Kardon, as usual once I had decided to change I didn't want to wait so I took Peter's demo.

I wasn't in Marty last night so you wouldn't have seen me.

Called in before Christmas and was talking to Peter about all the things that I wish that I put in the car. He told me that he had an all black car with lots of goodies. Must be your one that he was talking about. Nothing wrong with buying one of Peter's demos, that's how I got Marty. I wasn't prepared to wait either.

Interesting to note that you said it stumbled in the hot weather we have been having. Marty has done the same, but was blaming me for not getting the revs right on take off with air con blasting away.

Great choice of clour Mike.

Two new blacks hit the road in Bris today, another Cooper and another JCW S.

At this rate, we might catch even up to Chilli Reds by about 2006.

That's 2 blacks confirmed for Tassie and only 1 Chilli Red - amazing. I don't know about over your way, but when we do a run in Bris of 20-30 cars, it's almost always spot on 50% Red.

Be great to finally meet in Tassie.

Black is getting popular, it just takes the masses a while to catch on.
