I was at the dealership getting my car serviced and a MA mentioned to me that there was a memo being circulated that described an armrest being availbile for the MINI. I don't know if this will just be for new cars or if it can be retrofitted, but it might be good news for those of us who want an armrest but don't really like the aftermarket options out there.

an official MINI one will be coming soon

Dunno when 'soon' is though LOL The rumors I've heard is it will be an option on new MINI's, I'd guess probably when the cabrio debuts. I'm sure retrofits will follow after

As far as I know this will be an '05/Convertible option that should be possible/available to retrofit. They are also going to improve on the door handles/arm rests so you should find it easier to rest your arm there.
