A friend of mine who works at the mini factory has given me an exclusive on the new colours that cooper s and convertables will be available in for this summer.

Hot orange
Cool blue
Hyper blue
Black eye purple
Lizzard green

Unfortunatly Electric blue will be deleted.
We have been lucky enough to have been able to take pictures of the new Lizzard green cooper s please leave your comments on it.

Mmm, seems a bit weird for a car to leave the plant with an aero kit fitted unless of course that's a new option.

For me that colour is terrible but might be right up someone else's street.

Hope you can get pics of the other colours cjp - good work.

Did you notice any changes on the inside?

I notice also it does not have the new year lights or position of reverse light changed.

BMW do have a habit of discontinuing the popular colours....They did it with Topaz blue on the three series....

Not sure about Kermit green though.....DK could get one with a CR roof and have apple in reverse......

Sorry - not convinced the green is for real, too many elements of that car make it fishy to me

im not convinced. looks a bit like a photoshop job with the thin red line along the wheel arches. if you adjust the hue on chili red in ps by +100 the color you get is very close to this green. but maybe i am just seeing things.

My dealer has a car in the showroom that had the aero kit fitted at the factory - they said they reccomend this as the colour match is of course perfect.

As I was there seeing my car for the first time I took a pic of it - it's not as clear as I wanted as you cant get round the car but heres the pic anyway.

Does this car belong to an individual - the number plates aren' t there and there is a MINI sticker in the rear window. I agree with Ken, if it was a new car from the factory then surely it would have the new mods.

Also AFAIK the aero kit is a dealer fit option or has that changed recently?

that looks nice - are those Alpina wheels?

that green is more than a touch boy-racer for my liking. makes it look like its crying out for a crap body kit & stupid wheels

The car is about six months old,
As i said the car has been used for extensive testing at the factory,

............. and seems to have a dealer sticker ( Washy has eagle eyes as well as gripping hands

) on hte rear window as well as a "fun" sticker. And why the tow hook on the front shot ?
