Hello all.

I'm after an idea of the rough value of my Mini...both private and dealer...

It's an March '02 BRG Cooper with a white roof.
Chili pack
Radio boost with CD
No aircon.
32,000 miles
V good condition. My god do I love that car!...I wash it every week come rain or shine!

I'm thinking of swapping her for a new all Pepper White one and I'm just doing a bit of 'fishing'.
Any ideas of value would be gratefully received from those of you
'in the know' with their 'ears to the ground' or 'fingers on the pulse'...
err...you get my drift..before I get a greedy dealer involved!

Hmmm, probably £10,500 from a dealer, tops I'd guess. About £11,500 - £12,00 selling privately.

Agreed. I didn't get much over £11,500 from my dealer for my 52 plate Cooper with Air Con and only 8,000 miles on her....

It's a UK car so USA values are irrelavent (sp?) unfortunately.

Go to www.glasse.co.uk and you can put in the exact details of your car and for £2.95 you "should" get the guide price for your car. I say "should" as I did mine a few months ago and what they thought I would have paid new was out.

Or you could try www.parkers.co.uk who have a free valuation service (up to 52 reg) and a more sophisticated version that accounts for options and colours costing £1.99 for 24 hours unlimited use.

www.topgear.com also has a free valuation service powered by Glass's that should give an idea of trade in values (and knows about MINI options packs), but this doesn't appear to be coughing up any values at the moment!
