I have an MCS on order for delivery in March. I'm really interested in the Mini-Fini bike carrier. The dealer is supposed to get back to me with pricing information but so far has no information. He claims it will "definitely" be in stock and waiting for installation when my car arrives.

Has anyone actually gotten this set-up? If so what was the cost and how do you like the bike carrier? I notice the Mini-Fini web site has been taken down and replaced with a single, uninformative page.

Does this system need to be drilled into roof ?

No, this is the system that is installed behind the rear bumper fascia. Two "ports" stick out allowing the connection of a rear bike carrier. They can be seen on the following page on Mini Fini's former web site:
