HELP!!!!!!!! I need to make up my mind quick (this week). I have my production number for an early Feb Build.
I am trying to decide between Black with Red Tartan interior or Chili Red with Red Tartan interior. This is a MINI COOPER not an S. I will have chrome bumper inserts. Premium, Heat and Sports Package. No Stripes. I also am going with white roof and mirrors.

If it makes a difference I am female and love red. But will it be too much? Please respond. I am terribly torn and cannot decide. I would like other's opinions. - Thanks - p.s. My baby's name will be Pippin. The only thing I know for sure.

Id say go with the red exterior with white roof and stripes. It'll catch more attention.

I saw a CR/B in the showroom being delivered not too long ago - very striking. I'd say CR/B with the Red Tartan interior.

One good way to find pics is to go to Members List and click advanced search. There you can enter the spec of the car you'd like to see, and with any luck there will be an owner on here sharing pictures.

Go Chili Red! Also know as re-sale red. In laws recently purchased a black Honda Element. Love the car, but regret the color. IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean, and those swirl marks; NEVER again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMHO I'd go all black with the red interior.......whilst I agree with the comments regarding keeping it clean, it does look great with all the chrome acting as a contrast. Just wax it every third wash and it'll look great every time.

BTW red is more prone to fading that any other colour.....so if you keep the car outside all the time, that may be an issue.

I think an all red out /inside would be a bit of a colour overload!

go for the CR/W. It's clear that you love red, but why is it that Black is also on your list of colors? Could the reason be that the red interior is only available in the red or black exterior?

The chili red with tartan red interior wont be too much red. It will look quite hot....

I'd go for red and white with red interior. Black roof doesn't offer the same contrast. The red interior is pretty funky....

I still think the CR/B was a great color combination. Tartan Red interior would look really nice with Antracite too.

I have a 2002 Cooper in Chilli Red with part-leather black and red seats and tartan interior - not once have I thought it to be too much! I think it looks really distinctive and have certainly had no complaints from passengers....

Black is a pig to clean but looks awesome clean. Red looks awesome even when its not been washed for 1000 miles, or just done 30 miles through country roads, with muck everywhere (North West Meet)

Interior wise, the Red seats look ace, the Red doors look pants (But thats only my opinion) (thats why i got black interior). If you have to go with red interior though, get the black car. To many differant shades of reds to get Chili Red (i.e. doors don't match seats and they don't match the exterior)

Again this is only my opinion. Just look at my sig for example Just get what YOU want.
