Offline | Servicing Costs I can't imagine anyone has NOT bought the TLC package, but EVO Magazine were billed for their first Mini Cooper service - £127. This is more than VW charged for my Polo but still in the same ball park. Are EVO London based? Charges elsewhere may be lower. Good news for those of us who keep our Minis beyond the first three services. Also helps to put a value on the TLC package. |

Offline | Servicing Costs? Cost to Service?http://www.mini2.com/forum/newreply....reply&p=45225# Help? .....We have tried to get the cost of a 'general' service for our 'Min' from our local MINI dealer, but it seems they're not really sure how much we should pay! .....A very nice chap (can't name him or should i?) said we'll get back to you! He did phone us back, within TWO hours and said: ......."I'm sorry, but because 95% of Mini owners took out the option of the 'TLC' package we cannot at this precise time estimate how much an 'average' service will cost"..... (:PARDON ME ![]() Our response: ...."All or most dealers have the costs of servicing on the wall in 'BIG' pound signs"..... ...."I know sir, but i still cant tell you at this moment in time, how much a 'mini' service will cost you"......... ...(:Great ![]() Rant over........... If the cost of general service is about £127.00, that's OK. But if you know different - please let us know! Thanks, J and S |

Offline | I was told by my local dealer, NE UK, that the first service would cost approx £90. I have tlc, but was interested in what saving was really made by taking it. ![]() |

Offline | Service past TLC Just had my 1st service outside of TLC.....51,000 miles - Cost £350 : I have a Mini One ( but with LOADS of options )..YEH YEH I know now I should have had a Cooper.. The service cost was (surprise) mostly labour - £60 ph - 3 hours work apparently. I also have 85% wear on brake disks and pads - that will be another £200+ As a proportion of the capital cost of the vehicle it all seems expensive, but with ALL the warranty work I have had carried out since new, I'm nervous of straying outside the Dealer network before it's 3 years old - currently it is 24 months old |
