Best MINI book?

I've been thinking about buying one of the books on the new MINI. I looked on Amazon.com, and they have "New Mini" by Graham Robson, and "Mini" by Patrick C. Paternie. Does anyone have either or both of those? Which is the better read, which has the best pictures, etc?

Thanks.

There's one by Brian Laban called "MINI- the making of a modern icon", or something to that meaning, i got it for xmas and i haven't read it fully yet but it seems pretty good. it covers the classic and the MINI.

happy hunting

I have both books. If you can only get one book, get "New MINI" by Graham Robson. It's much more detailed than the Paternie book.

I bought both from Amazon and got them cheaper by buying together.

Both are very good although the one with the yellow cooper on the front is aimed more at the US market but is a good read. The other book is more thorough but I think it's worth having both! It's up to you.
