Wales Any driving Instructors out there using Mini One D?

Hi everyone
I'm buying a Mini One D as a driving school car - Like to hear your opinions in general about the MOD
Pinks.

I seem to recall that Lurcher has a One D for that very purpose.

Hi Pinks

My wife is an instructor with the Mini Driving School featured in GoMini.

She has a Cooper. There is a diesel in the school, but I'm afraid that I don't know too much about it except that it gets far better fuel consumption than the Coopers do - 'Er Indoors gets about 23mpg!

I think there are a few MINI driving instructors using MINI2, and as Harpo says Lurcher is one of them.

There is a mesage forum for driving instructors - I'll PM you the details. If you put a post on there I'm sure you'll get some positive responses as everyone that I've spotted seems very positive about their MINI, especially the diesels.

my driving instructor uses one, and he saves about 300quid a month compared to his cooper. So i suppose its worth it.

one-d is a good learner car but people find it hard to put it into reverse. i'm learning on a one... much easier imo.

Pinks,
Dont worry about reverse gear, like anything stubborn you just give it a slap or exert pressure.
PM sent to youy with more feedback as school car.
