| MINI2 Regular | Some piece of human swill scratched my MINI Two months of ownership and some dirtbag gouged a 2 inch horizontal scratch in my drivers side door, despite my attempts to park far from other cars. I've no idea when or where it happened but can I just say PEOPLE SUCK?! There. I feel better now. Time to buy some factory touch up paint. ![]() /// The Kurtster /// ![]() UNION JACK OWNERS CLUB GB-0032 |

Offline | Sorry to read this Kurtster.. we have the same sort of ignorance here and can't believe people at times. Just the other day while my whole family sat in my fathers car the ***** parked next to us opened his door straight into ours and then wondered what i was looking at. I rolled the window down and made sure there was no scratch else I would have opened my door on their face .Hope yours gets sorted soon Does my @rse look big in this broom broom |

![]() 6X therapist | My daughter parked hers in one of those corner spaces, where its almost impossible to open a door and actually touch the next car as you park at 45 degrees to the other rows. Very safe she thought. Comes back from shopping and finds a shopping trolly 'IN' the fuel filler cap, with big dent and scratch on bumper/fender. I was and still am furious about it, because she went to extraordinary lengths to try and protect the car. I feel for anyone that has had these sort of things happen, but what can you do, some people are just beyond belief. |

Offline | Washed the winter grime off of our BRG MINI yesterday and found some idiot in a tan car had gouged a three inch streak in passenger door. I'm thinking about getting a set of orange cones to put around the car every time I park it. |

Offline | its really annoying. these days i park her in places where i wont get dents. but if someone wants to intentionally damage the only thin that will keep them away is a guy with a big baseball bat... i choose my parking places with care, for example i try and park between more expensive cars and hope the owners are carefull. |

Offline | Sorry to hear about this trouble youve had, however something of a relief to know its not just me who parks as far away from any one else as I can !........my wife and kids are always complaining about the long walks we have across car parks ! However despite this ,she takes it to work, some lardy comes up beside her ,BANG,opens the door straight into the side of our car....what can you do !!!!.Body shop say to repair will need to take door apart to fix,so we'll probably leave it however evenb tho its a small dent ,and slight break in paint which some people say thay dont notice until I point it out (I know !) it will always be there for me .........................and on and on and on |
