Here is a picture (from the MCR magazine) of one of the Italian Job stunt MINIs kitted out with two steering wheels.

That picture reminds me of Dan, my Dutch friend from University. Dan drove a beaten up Left Hand Drive Renault 5 equipped with a Police siren and an extra steering wheel screwed onto the dashboard on the right hand side. If we were cut up by any one, Dan would drive along side them whilst I see-sawed the fake wheel towards the offending driver. This usually caused extreme panic as they expected the 5 to veer towards them. Or he would follow behind them with using the siren and watching them brake sharply as they tried to ascertain the source of the emergency vehicle. Not recommended today of course.

whoa, now thats asking for trouble!! what if the driver wants to go left and the passenger right????, does the car split in two???

Looks to me as if the photographs were taken in the visitors centre at Cowley, but it is a different photograph from the one you posted - if you look carefully.
