Unhappy Keyed

My silver mini was keyed all over the driver's door today. 9 scratches in total covering the entire door. those s. it ruined my week and maybe even month. the worst part is that it was done in my school's parking lot and now i'm afraid that after i fix it, it will get keyed again. does anyone have any idea what i can to reduce the chances of this happening again?

OMG! This is horrible. I don't have any ideas of how to stop it from happening again, but I do want to express my sympathy. One of our other cars was keyed, and I know how it feels. It makes me upset every time I look at it. I am so sorry this had to happen to you.

All I can say is park in a high traffic or highly visible area of your school to "help" avoid this happening again. It's sad that you have to be careful of these things....hell I can't even bring myself to put a sticker with my political beliefs on the rear window for fear that some looney toon keys my car up because they don't agree with my opinion.

What complete jerks. I feel terrible for you. People can be soooo awful. You are right, I would be concerned about parking there again. I would think parking somewhere visable is all you can do.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Catch the a-holes and have Guido break their finger in several places. They'll get the message.
Just a thought: Are there video surveillance cameras at your school. Make a report and maybe, just maybe, they can be caught and mommy and daddy can pay for the damage.

when a jealous woman kept denting my door with her stupid pug, i put a massive roll of bubble wrap around it to prove my point.

she never did it again!!!!

But, the only thing i can suggest, is to try and find out who is doing it,
then get it repaired,
once you have done that, put loads of polish wax over the car, that will reduce the amount of damage keying will cause the next time. with enough polish, the will scratch the wax, and not the car. tried and tested.

Jealousy, you cannot escape it. Good luck.

How upsetting - poor Mini... and poor you. How about putting up signs to say that the car park is monitored on CCTV - might deter petty criminals? You'd like to porgramme the mini to retaliate!!!

Im really sorry to hear about this mirovampiro. Keying and vandalism is one of the things that really gets my blood boiling, as it is done by jealous cowards. Its times like this when you should reflect on the words of John Travolta in Pulp Fiction, "no judge, no jury, just go straight to the ing executioner!". I hope you catch them and get it sorted out as soon as possible.

All the best,

Adam

Sorry to hear about this. Just typical Jealous people that should get a LIFE.

Can't really avoid it Im afraid. Take the advice of some of the sugestions mentioned and park in a well viewed area or get a car cover or a really good idea is to do what this guy did in the UK a while back but I would not advise this.

This happened a while back and was mentioned in a couple of papers. His car was continually broken into and keyed so he connected another car battery to the body work giving the scum a very nasty shock which stopped the buggers.

Not advice from the home office.

Hope you can avoid this happening again and you manage to get things sorted out all ok.

Regards

Nathan

Bad luck mate.

Just happened to me 2 weeks ago. The day after i'd agreed the trade in!

Got up in the morning to find my Cooper and someone elses ONE both keyed on my street. No other car was touched.

It's a Mini Vendetta!

SH*t...
I had my car keyed 3 times in 3 weeks.. all over it. I put up a camera outside of my office and hasn't happened again; But i have yet to fix the car. When i have it repainted i will also be getting a car cover.
If it makes you feel any better girls don't notice the key marks..
