Has anyone been invited to take the Mini USA survey thru 6gear.com?

It is a 30 minute survey geared to determining the psychological profile of a potential car buyer.
Besides the usual questions (age, income, etc), one is presented with a slough of images on different topics and asked to rate it (cool, stylish, british, ugly amongst others).

At the the end of this rather bizarre exercise, I was invited to take part in a 3-hour in-person focus group (pay is $200) to help design the 'next Mini'. They will let me know if I qualify.

Looks like they've raised the focus group pay. I attended one in Fall of 2002 and received $150 ... which covered the cost of upgrading to OEM alloy pedals

Tried 6gear.com and all it was market-speak, saw no MiniUSA survey. Is this done thru MiniUSA? I'd like to let 'em know what I think and help them focus

I believe its done thru invitation... theres a user ID and everything attached to the link that was e-mailed out.

I received the email and was told I qualified for the survey.

The funny thing was when the survey arrived, it was clearly aimed at folks who HAVE NOT purchased a MINI. Now I could be wrong, but that thing with 4 wheels and a supercharger in my garage certainly LOOKS like a MINI!

The survey I (and I believe everyone else in this thread) took was online. I think you're talking about a different survey.
