2004 Mini Dealer Accessory: Bluetooth?

I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere, but I didn't see it in my search. I was just at the Mini dealership yesterday and saw the latest accessory catalog (2004). One of the items that the dealership did not know much about was a Mini Bluetooth Handsfree kit. Does anyone know anything about this? E.g.:

* Will this work in a 2003 or 2002 model, or only as an addition to a 2004? (and, if not, why?)
* What does it consist of? (it mentioned some sort of control unit; does it play over the speakers? where does the microphone go?)
* When will it be available?

I don't have a Bluetooth phone -- I'm really waiting for the PalmOne Treo 600 to have this feature. But, I'd love to have this capability in my car.

I called another dealership who had some additional information. He believed that it would be able to work in pre-2004 models. He also thought that it would work using the microphone by the moonroof and use the stereo for speakers. I wonder whether the microphone can switch with the moonroof switch -- the microphone is closer to a British driver than a left-sided steering wheel.

He thought it would be available in March.
