just a little thread to ask if any of your local dealerships are or have had a early handover party due to the 1st of march being there busiest day of the year.

bridgegate (in Derby, UK) was last nite and was very enjoyable. was snacks and bucks fizz and representatives of tracker, superguard, pirelli runflats and engineers to go through every aspect of the car so u only have to sign and get your keys on the day itself.

i though this was a great idea and had an extra nice surprise when the mini girls presented me with a cake, a goodie bag and a £50 gift voucher as it was also my birthday. now thats a gud dealership, top marks bridgegate.

anyway, any1 else having a handover party and where is it?

Getting mine on 1st March from Soper in Lincoln... No party so far though

Im getting mine from Williams Liverpool 1st March .....no party there either!! If anyone from there ever sees this can we have a party please!!!!

Wish we'd got ours from Bridgegate now! We went to Sytners at Nottingham instead cos when we went to Bridgegate (the first time we ever looked at Minis) we were completely ignored, even though there was no one else there! So we stormed off in a huff.

Getting mine hopefully 1st March but may be 2-3 day - no party as far as im aware tho - Manchester Old Trafford (near Man Utd's ground-spit) - City Fan

I'm getting mine @ 10:30 on the 1st March from Blue Bell - Wilmslow.

Yes, I know I live in Chester and near the Chester Haliwell Jones dealership but when I ordered my car, Blue Bell were the nearest dealer.

No party as far as I'm aware at Blue Bell - Wilmslow.
