Offline | worried now I'm worried. I have order a new cooper s for 1st of march and was meant to be deliver on the 16th of Feb.. I ask my dealer if they had it last Friday and they said it would have been sent to a holding yard till closer to the date and would be sent over by Tuesday. So phoned again on Tuesday this week see if it there yet. It took over four phone calls over the whole day to finally get through to find out that it still not there . They said don't worrier if its not here by Thursday they I should worried. I phone three time to day but they kept tell me the sales guy was in a meeting or gone out. now I worried something's happen and they just don't want to tell me I hope it there tomorrow or I'm stuck without a car as tax and insurance runs out on mine as I was trading it in on Monday |

Offline | I wouldn't worry too much - the dealers have so many cars going out on the 1st Sept and 1st March that they don't have space to store them on their premises so they rent secure storage off site. It gets a bit hectic for sales staff as they are not physically involved with moving the cars around so can not often give a definite answer where a particular car is. 99% of the time though the car will be there and ready to go 1st of the month. Your best bet is to speak to the particular salesperson you are dealing with and express your concerns. |

Offline | I went to see my 'S' about 2-3 days before I took delivery and the dealer had put it in a pound off-site for the pdi...and I was definately NOT allowed to view it. They made me wait, and then told me how fantastic it looked..... If you are down to take delivery on 1st March, and thats what they have told you, then I would believe them as they need to sort your tax disk 'n'stuff. My dealer is shipping out 18 new deliveries on the 1st!!!!!!! and they can't keep them all at the dealership - they store them off site. |

I ask if anything happen in delivery and he promised nothing did so guess I have to take his word till I see it. He would like me to come in Sunday to sort most of it out ready for the first so I will see it then. ![]() |
