bye bye mini ,brought back by dealer for full retal price

For the same price I payed for it on the 10/1/2002
I think they wanted to get me out of there hair
and they asked for me not to buy another car from them
but would not object if I wanted them to order another car

In other words take your money and getout

full retal price of £14,450

I got back £14,450

1000 miles on the clock
I have to give the car back next week

HELLO COOPER S you will be mine

£1600 insurance
But its worth it (I hope)

How did you go about rejecting your car?

I am in a similar position to where you were. Jan 02 delivery but the car had problems from day one. I finally thought enough is enough so I have handed my car back to my dealership on Wednesday, along with my rejection letter. I have also contacted my Regional Customer Service Manager via e-mail in the hope he can make the process go smoothly. I have yet to hear any more but hopefully I will get my money back.

I would appreciate any advice you can give me

Cheers

well it just sort of came about from a phone call to customer services
tell them about the problems how upset you are with the faults with the car but how much you still love the mini and get in touch with bbc watch dog and tell customer services this and that they are doing a follow up report on the problems with the mini and how faults that are over a year old are still coming out of the factory on new cars ect ect
and how you would love to tell watch dog how well they dealt with the problem regarding you car

and then a day or so later if like me you will get lots of phone calls from mini uk and they will get intouch with your dealer and ask /tell them to sort the car out so they don't get any bad press

told dealer i wanted to reject car 2 weeks ago
contacted customer services 1 week ago
today car rejected pick up check and return car next weekend
