I have had it confirmed by MINI that you WILL be able to watch your MINI as it comes down the production line. I know there have been rumours of this, but it WILL happen.

The camera's are already in place, it is just a case of getting it live and working, costings etc. etc.

Now THAT will be cool.

MINI2 members can share there build No's and we can all watch their car being made together!

No pressure on those at the plant of course!

I can see it now.. "Did you see what he did to MY car just then?! Did he check that properly?! Have they missed a buit with the paint? (sorry, that was the late classic Mini's)...

Neat... Where in the process are the cameras? Is it streaming video or stills? Will we be notified in advance that our car is being produced? Is this REALLY going to happen?

Great, this will allow me put a close eye on the technicians putting together my car down the line. Will it also allow for a direct communication system for us to complement or scold those people working on the car?
