Right this is getting silly now....I have no car as my part ex Saxo VTR is now with the dealer as otherwise i would have had to tax it for a week

so now i have to get the pishin bus which on days like these are not good - its freeeezin! The next 7 days is gona feel like forever!!! This is not good! And why wont this thing let me start a new paragraph

Anywayz is anyone else awaiting their 04 MCS/C/O/D for the 8 Mar like me - also is there any north get togethers coming up??? I have booked Tue 9 Mar off and my reason to my boss " i wana play with my new toy " .....not sure if i will be in on Wed

Well, I should be picking mine up on the 12th. Can't wait!!
There seems to be a big group of us reiceving our Mini's around the same time, kinda cool, huh?

i am getting mine on the 12th as well. its at the garage now and i too am carless as i sold my car privatly. the only reason i cant get my mcs is i cant get insured til i'm 21 so i'll have to wait until my b-day.

if only i was born a couple of weeks earlier!!!

Sunday night is gonna be a killer......will i sleep....probably not.....am i in work on Monday.....yes.....will i do any work.....nope......will the dealer be constantly contacted......yes sir

Was contemplating tinting my windows as i had done to my Saxo (see gallery) but as i have Sat-Nav i want everyone to be able to see thru the windows and see my lil 16x9 screen!

i was gonna tint my windows too but decided against after hearing conflicting stories about the legality of it. think i'll look into it properly in the next few months and get it done if it's all ok.

yeah its an iffy area - see the many threads previously on tinting

had major problems with my saxo and scratching of the tints - involved a lot of faffing on the driver and passenger door.

having spent over £18k on my MCS im gona leave them alone!

No doubt the Germans are better than the French when it comes to windows!

I want people to see who is gona be driving this gorgous car anyhowz

thats wot my mates keep telling me 'let people see you driving it'.

got a dodgy spaced number plate on the car too so thats another reason for the police to stop me - dont want to give em to many reasons

i've had a couple of vtr's in the past too, crackin little cars, first one was modded and could really shift. nothing like a mcs though.

yeah i got pulled last week by police doing Tax checks.

The officer pulled me in and said do you know why i have stopped you?

Hmmm is it the illegal windows, illegal number plate or was i driving too fast....so i opted for the number plate and the officer smiled....g1t.

So now im doing it legal as the trauma of passing a copper is not good and i dont want them disrupting my driving pleasure in the S.

did you get a fine when you got stopped for it? i've heard of people gettin a £30 fine and others just getting a producer and told to get the plate changed. dont really mind the latter but i'm not forkin out £30 everytime i see a copper.

Yep, mine's due on the 16th as well, tried to get an update from my dealer today but he's not in

Can't wait - does anyone know if having a private plate transferred (from old MC to new MCS) will delay things or can they get it done all at the same time??

Don't want to wait any longer than I absolutely have to...
