Could any one please help. My 02 MC has just started making a noise when I select 3rd.

Heard it once or twice about three weeks ago, then nothing. This morning it was there but in 2nd as well as 3rd. Just got back from work and 3rd is at it again, but not all the time. It sounds very plasticeeeeeeeeee

not the normal grinding of gears that you get as clutch is going. Only 12000 on the clock.

Any ideas

Oh dear, not heard of that before?
Think it will be a trip to the dealer?

Just wondered, as it nearer the weekend, few more on line, does anyone have any ideas about this.

Hi

No not yet, its booked in at Sytners Notts, can't get in there till last week in April.

Its on 1st, 3rd and 5th, tends to disappear after 10 miles of changing through the box, but its only there up the box and not when you change down.

Stayed the same, no worse and no better.
