 I call my 2004 MCS chilli red, white sun roof and whtie mirror covers and bonet stripes "FUTIE!" Th e name is from my guy who nicknamed me. It started as a derivitive of Cutie-pa-Tootie, that morphed into Beauty-pa-Tootie and settled on Futie.   |

| Ask MINI says this AM that Ghillie (named it already as it will be my companion and guide in my adventures it seemed a good name and about 20 years ago I had a wonderful yellow Labrador retriever gun dog by that name ) entered the paint shop yesterday at 15:00 zulu So Ghillie it is. | Officially, I call my MINI, the CheshmobilE Mark III (It is my third car, my other car is the CheshmobilE Mark II) BUT, my fiancee calls it (her) Chiana after the character from Farscape. |

| My CR MCS should be hitting the paint shop in a couple of days. I named my MINI Habenero (Habe for short). Habenero chilli peppers are the hotest peppers on the planet! |

| My Mini-to-Be is named Mr. Q, no relation to my user name! Why?  I ordered him on Valentine's Day, so "Cupid" came to mind. But that's a silly name for a car, right? So I shortened it to Q. That didn't sound formal enough for my Mini, so I added Mr. It gets the "awww" factor of a cute name without sounded so sweet it gives you a toothache. At the time I also felt "Mr. Q" sounded like something out of 007. Later I learned that Q was the gadget man in James Bond movies. (I had no clue) I don't drive too fast ... you just look too slow! | My MCS, sitting shivering in Southampton, will be christened "DB Cooper". He'll be brave, adventurous, a bit mysterious, and the stuff of legends. Okay, so maybe that's a bit of exaggeration.  Hans Weiss My new pepper white on pepper white MC is "en route" from South Carolina to San Antonio as I write. I hate to name it before it is presented to me but, and I suspect many of you understand, I just can't contain myself. I think I am going to name it after a cat I once met in France. It was 1989 and a buddy of mine and I were boozing it up on a pic-nic in Cannes with some German girls when we saw a white cat. I suggested we call it Jacques Blanc, which I think/thought is/was French for "Jack White". Then it started rolling: Giacomo Bianco, Juaqium Blanco, Hans Weiss. Before we knew it, a Dutch couple sitting on a bench about 20 feet from ours told us what Jack White in Dutch is. (Sadly, I can't remember...must have been the wine!) Anyway, I think the new car is going to be named "Jack White", after the eponymous cat. And I hope to collect international iterations from here forward... | My new Pepper White MINI One (due to be delivered in May) is going to be called Elizabeth Taylor. Just like Charlotte in Sex and the City, Elizabeth will be the child I'll never have of my own. By the way, so sad to see Sex and the City end  Richard. |

| This goes back to the name Changing question... When I got the car, I also got the GPS, so I decided to call the lady that talks to me Gypsy...since then, the car has gone through a couple of surgeries and what not, and she's been transformed into Meani...(it's on the plate ) People have reffered to her as both...just depends how you know her L |
