Offline | My mini is called Tom, it started as Tom Thumb because he's so small, then the name stuck because of Tommy COOPER. He is most definitely a boy. I must say SMURFN I'm am glad I am not the only one out there that likes smurfs - what's your story? |

Offline | Ghillie has turned out to be most assuredly male but the Nav system for now is called Betsy. Started out calling it ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ing Betty (humm Female Dog) after the first voice warning systems in aircraft "PULL UP! PULL UP! TERRAIN! PULL UP!".... Then shifted it slightly to ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ing (Female Dog) Betsy after my sister... then after getting to like it (except for the american accent) went to just Betsy.... I hope that we will one day get A Proper British voice... if female It will be Liz and if I get the hoped for Male British voice then the Sat Nav and the MINI can have the same name 'Ghillie' ... well perfect would be a male Scots accent... but even I do not expect to get that! Offline | Alistair! I wanted a British name and I took this particular spelling to honor the memory of the late Alistair Cooke... a most distinguished British transplant! Fun and charming like his namesake... I hope my MINI lives to be 95 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertain...io/3581573.stm |

Offline | Unlike convention where most cars are named after girls' names...mine is named Dax. It's on the license plate, and i just like the name. It looks like a Dax to me. ![]() |

Offline | My Cooper's called Audrey, in honour of my absolute favourite actress of all time, Audrey Hepburn. Audrey Hepburn was classy, stylish and just plain wonderful, much like MINIs are. |

Offline | A star is born Our coop arrived at the weekend and after much deliberating (henry, tommy, cabana etc) we decided on Tommy. BUT as there are a lot of tommys already out there, and the lady and I are both Magnum PI fans, ours has been christened: TC !! Will hopefully be able to post pics of the 'birth' soon but borrowed dad's digital camera and he seems to have 'lost' them whilst trying to send them to me. Dink Dank Doo! |

Offline | My MCS is going to be nickname the "Beast" as we were looking for something contradictory to its cuteness when thinking about available choices for his personalized plate. (Kentucky has an online search to tell you if personalized tags are taken) ....and of course my MINI does have the JCW kit, which makes him more beastly! ![]() 2004 DS/B MCS + JCW S 4818 - Premium, Cold Weather packages; HK, Xenons, Fogs, DSC, 16" V-spoke alloys and chrome mirror caps __________________________________________________ ________________________________ |

Offline | AmRov, The phrase in your signature graphic is what I was originally trying to get for a license plate. Unfortunately someone in Virginia already has S CAR GO as their plate. ![]() His - 04 CR/W MCS Hers - 05 BEP/W MCS |
