Offline | Collision My fabulous Cooper S was hit by a car cutting through a line of traffic from a side road on my right. Thankfully, nobody has been injured, but my car has suffered significant damage to the offside and front. The car was undrivable - although the engine was still running, there was no drive to wheels which seemed to be locked such that the car couldn't even be pushed. I'm waiting to hear whether it can be repaired or will be written off. I was surprised, given how violent the impact felt, that no airbags went off. Does anybody have experience of MINI shortfall top up insurance. Should the car be written off, how does this work. Does the process take long, and do I have to join the waiting list for a new car?
