Offline | Space Saver Tyres R A Waste Of Space! Never really liked the idea of space saver tyres. Always felt manufacturers who supplied them were as miserable as they get. Pay all that money for a car to end up with a useless spare wheel. Penny pinching at its worst. Now I know I'm correct! I've had to use the space saver. The tyre pressure should be 61 psi My tyre pump really struggles to reach that pressure. Tried to check the pressure with a gauge. Not one of the 3 I tried registered greater than 50 psi. What a great design! You have to buy a special gauge to check the pressure. Not impressed! Moan over. morrisminiminor |
