Italian Job - mini music

Hi

I'm guessing most of you have seen the italian job (the mini enthusiasts that i know you are), anyway i want to get the music track which is played in it, but when i bought the sound track it wasn't on it. (you hear it when the group all meat under the bridge and lyle can't handle his motorbike...)

I have since heard the stereophonics new song, and i think the start of that is the song that i am after. (think)

Does anyone know where i could get it/download it? or the name of it??

Any help would be good.

Whats everyones favourite mini music???

I was disappointed in the soundtrack as well, although I do like track 13 the best. I'm not sure where to get the rest of the music from that movie, but would like to find out also. Some of the best songs are left out.

at the risk of sounding teenie bopper-ish. I am going to play "I'm loving it" by Justin Timberlake when I go to pick up my MINI.... this song is a great driving song, especially for MINI's... (get my MINI tomorrow after work YEAH!!!) I'm going to have a love affair with my car....

It's definately not the Sterophonics !!!

Also I'm Loving it doesn't appear in the credits, I know that the song played at the end is Money by Roger Waters. I know the tune from somewhere, but don't know what it is called or who by !!!!!!!

Strange that !!! Thats all the lyrics and tune I can think of to that title

For some reason, when I hear that part of the film, the lyrics "Wot goes around comes around " pop into my head

Shaun, that is the one Glad I am not losing my sanity

dont know if this will help but here are a list of songs in the movie:

The Wrekoning - Boomkat = when Stella drives MINI back to store
California Soul - Marlena Shaw = the "arrival in LA" montage
ABC 123 - Jackson 5 = little Charlie stills bully's wallet
Go - Andy Hunter = MINI test drive in warehouse w/computer
Pedal To The Medal - Kazzer = 3 MINI's test drive in LA canals...

I think shaun is right... the song that you are looking for may be: Timo Maas "To get Down", but i believe the version in the film has no lyrics.

Timo Maas "to get down" is very hard to find on the net. I found and bought the whole Timo Maas CD that it was on for just that one song. Also Kazzar " pedal to the metal" is another hard song to find but, I have it also.

The Marlena Shaw track is the best. Based on this film and the KFC advert, I've bought the album!

Cheers for your help, it was the timo mass song.
Now i have to find a place to buy it/download it.

As for the stereophonics, i just thought the start of there new song sounded similar and wondered if it had been modified for the film.

I agree the sound track is very dissapointing.

Any one know where the MP3 for "Self Preservation Society" from the original film can be found?
I now buy 95% of my music from iTunes and have not found it there.
Who was the orignal film version by and is that the correct title?

Its correct title is apparently "Getta Bloomin' Move On!" and was written by Quincy Jones.
