Offline | US Coopers with Sport Package?? Has anybody's dealer received Coopers with the Sport Package?? My dealer has no cars arriving with this package which is one of the options I wanted mostly for the wheels and sport seats. I'm bummed none are equipped with the full package or just the sports seats even.Anybody seen a Cooper with the sports seats at their dealer? 08 Smart ForTwo Passion Silver/Black/Red (Going on Ebay!) 07 Honda Accord V6 6-speed Taffeta White/Tan (wife's) 06 MINI Cooper S JCW Checkmate Astro Black/Silver ![]() |

Offline | At the two dealers I've visited so far, only the 'S' had the sports seats, and it was 'unavailable'... so I still haven't tested them. The standard seats were supportive during my test drive, but I plan on opting for the sports package myself (also for the seats, wheels, and suspension)... sixfoot6 Dark Silver "S" - White Top - Alloy Wheels - Sports Package - Premium Package - status: In Search of Twisties |

Offline | I drove an S with the sports package. The seats are a lot more supportive than the regular Cooper and the wheels and suspension make a very noticeable difference in handling. The S turns in quicker, stays flatter and understeers less than the regular Cooper. As you know, none of the pre-spec'd Coopers have the sports package but my dealer was able to find one currently in production. This is the one I'm getting and it should arrive in a few weeks. It also has the SS+ option. Your dealer should be able to check to see what they will be getting in the next shipment. I have my VIN and production numbers too. Hang in there dude! ![]() |

Offline | Drakken, You drove the S and still opted for the Cooper? Judging by all the bells and whistles you added to your Cooper, it wasn't purely a financial decision... right? sixfoot6 Dark Silver "S" - White Top - Alloy Wheels - Sports Package - Premium Package - status: In Search of Twisties |

Offline | Me too, I drove a DS Cooper S with the Lapis Blue leather.......the seats were very comfy indeed. I checked with the dealer and we didn't see anything coming in the next few weeks with the sports package. Here are my choices as of today: Pure Silver/Black due to arrive this Friday - Premium package - 16" wheels - DSC - Foglights - Chrome line - Black/black leatherette or Indi Blue/White, due to arrive in a few weeks - Premium package - Heated seats - 16" wheels - Foglights - Chrome line - Panther black leather or ..........wait for something more appealing to arrive. 08 Smart ForTwo Passion Silver/Black/Red (Going on Ebay!) 07 Honda Accord V6 6-speed Taffeta White/Tan (wife's) 06 MINI Cooper S JCW Checkmate Astro Black/Silver ![]() |

Offline | Yes, however, I'm still on the S list. I'll have about 8 months until my turn comes up on the S list so I have time to decide to keep the Cooper or trade up. The Cooper with the SS+ will handle just as good as the S but won't be as fast. The power of the S is a lot of fun but it promotes immature driving. ![]() |
