If the car goes in for warranty work arnt the dealers suppose to provide you with a loaner? I mean its not my fault MINI sold me a car thats broke right? I would understand if its out of warranty or didnt come with 3/36K Warranty. I'm asking cause I'm trying to see if I can talk my dealer into providing me with a loaner. I cant afford to drop it off and not have a car for however long or rent one from them.

It's done on a dealer by dealer basis. When deciding where to purchase my mini I asked the three different dealerships in my area if they provided loaner cars. 2 of the 3 did. Still, they can't guarantee one will be available when I come in. The best thing to do is schedule a loaner car with the dealership ahead of time and not wait until the last minute to bring it in.

DAH!!! ya usually.. but Long Beach BMW/MINI doesnt... and I didnt consider that when I got the car. cuz I thought they all did if it goes in for a problem thats not my fault. If no loaner was provided for like a oil change or somthing then I would understand but I think one should be provided to at least customers that bought the car there and is going in for warranty work... oh wells... thanks to those that responded...

By the way, in the USA, your MINI warranty is 4 yrs/ 50,000 miles, not 3/36. As to free loaners, not in Las Vegas or Phoenix as far as I know.

Oh ya... I confused it with the Full Mantanence which is 3/36
