Do Mini's have a good amount of room inside? - MINI Cooper Forum

Right now I am in the midst of looking for a new car. My main concern with the Mini is that it would be to small of a car for me. I am 6'2 and am wondering if I'd feel like I was in a circus act if I rode in this car. My current car isn't huge, it's a 96 VW Golf, so I am used to smaller cars.

I'm 6 foot and no problems, there are many much taller and bigger than me - sit in one and you'll see

Go to a dealership and test drive one to see how it feels.

There are lots of tall people on MINI2, so I don't think it would be a problem.

I'm about 6'2ish and I find it very roomy driving in my car! I feel small sometimes.

Before I rode out to the dealer I wanted to see if it was worth my time. Only have heard amazing things about the Mini. I'll probably end up going to the dealer sometime today.

You are strongly advised to test-drive the car if you have reservations about its size or anything else, so that you can decide whether you like it or not based on first hand experience and not via hear-say

mad brummie is about 7 foot tall and 3 inches wide and he drives an MCS

well ok, I may have exagerrated slightly, but he's still fecking tall and fecking skinny

Plenty of space inside! The boot is small ....depends what you put in there! All in all lots of space!! Very happy with my mini!

The seat adjustments are pretty good and can lower the seat quite far- my other halfs 6'2" and doesn't have any problems driving my MINI in fact trying to keep him out of it is proving difficult!!

Go take a look for yourself

I wouldn't try transporting a wardrobe, but there is as much room for the driver as any other small/medium car currently sold in the UK

I'm 6'6" and have no problems. If you run a search you will find there a quite a few MINI drivers who make me look small.

Just don't expect to fit anyone behind you
