Question What 'memory' options can be programmed into my MINI? FAQ update?

Abject absement if this is the wrong forum for this

I just talked with Keith my MA at MINI of Peabody (my Ghillie was unloaded at the VDC this afternoon ) And he said he could not put his hand to the current programing list and in any case he thought his 'current list' might be missing 2 or three options from the most recent Software release... he suggested I check the font of up to date info MINI2 for a full curent list and he also would try to get a new list by monday...

So I went to the FAQ and found it had nt been updated since last July.

Question is this in fact the current full list or are there changes and or additions/ deletions to it

Updated July '03.
Different activating signals to confirm that the vehicle has been locked/unlocked. (Seems on early builds only)
Deactivating the headlight courtesy delay function (AKA 'Follow me home lights'). With 40, 90, 150, 240 second delay options.
Switching on the inside light via the remote control. (Unconfirmed as an option, standard on unlock via remote).
Activating / deactivating the interior movement detector/tilt alarm sensor via the remote control. (Available by 'double locking' but not recommended for insurance and security purposes).
Automatically locking the vehicle after setting off.
Stop function of window lifts when opening/closing.
Selective central locking where the first press unlocks only the drivers door, then the second press unlocks the remainder of the vehicle./Selective Central Locking with key in door lock.
Holding RC down options: Unlock Boot, Comfort Opening, or nothing. (Remote comfort opening, not on all vehicles).
Windscreen Wipers. Switch back when stationary, active or not active.
Automatic door unlock with ignition off.
Speed sensing wipers (n/a with rain sensitive wipers factory option).
Locking when engine is running (with
second key) .
Activating/deactivating daytime driving
lamps.
Power sunroof - 1 touch open and/or close.
Power sunroof - 1 touch raise
Park Distance Control Loudness in back
Park Distance Control System OK signal on every activation
Rain sensor Threshold settings

No more that I can think of, I'll have to check it all out, maybe if someone else has had something else changed they could post here. I'm still pretty sure that's it.

I picked mine up from Keith at MoP earlier this month and this is what I told him re: programming options. I think the only addition is the lights flashing upon unlocking....not just early builds. Also the central lock toggle.

UNLOCKING FROM OUTSIDE: I would like it so that when I press the remote button once, the Driver's door only unlocks, press it twice and everything else unlocks.

AUTOMATIC LOCKING WHEN STOPPED: Deactivate

AUTOMATIC LOCKING WHEN DRIVING: Deactivate

AUTOMATIC UNLOCKING WHEN STOPPED: Activate -- this seems to be an "undocumented" capability, but the MINI2 boards describe successful programming. Basically, when I stop and turn the key to position "0", all doors unlock. May also be known as AUTO LOCKING WITH IGNITION OFF

CONVENIENCE OPENING MODE: Activate

OPENING & CLOSING FROM OUTSIDE: Activate

CONVENIENCE CLOSING VIA THE DOOR LOCK: Activate

FOLLOW ME HOME LAMPS: Deactivate

DAYTIME DRIVING LIGHTS: Activate

SPEED DEPENDENT WIPERS:

NORMAL WIPER SPEED: Activate
FAST WIPER SPEED: Activate

CENTRAL LOCK TOGGLE SWITCH -- Programmed to open the windows when held in the up position

LIGHTS FLASHING TO INDICATE DOOR UNLOCKED. Some have described seeing the parking lights two times when the unlock/lock buttons were hit...I'd like this.

On my US build MCS with factory alarm the audible confirmation of locking / unlocking can be programmed. Nothing like letting someone in a parking lot know you just locked your MINI and you are leaving.....

I wasn't given any options, I was just told what the car did - locks when drive off, unlocks when you turn the engine off. Hold mini logo down on key to open windows.

I'm not sure if this is described differently in one of the replys, but I have the automatic re-lock option. That is, if you unlock the door, but don't open any doors then after 2 minutes it will relock.

I'm with marrsbar - no programming options - but my car hasn't been delivered to them yet - so I'm still hopeful... but the cars that I've seen come out of there had the auto lock upon driving, daytime running lights, hold button to open everything, another to open boot, single touch sunroof, no auto unlock upon shut-off (that's just plain unsafe!!!) one push unlocks driver - two unlocks everyone...

Maybe tomorrow when I get the call that they've received my car, we can discuss that... hmmm?

In some places, when you shut off your car - you might not want your car to automatically unlock... it could be bad...(personal safety - bad neighborhood) I prefer having that control. I like having the pull door handle once to unlock, twice to get out.

I'm a female in the city - go figure.

Just a quick question. If I have my dealer turn off the Selective Unlock, will one click unlock the boot as well? I had it set as Selective, but after a few months I have people riding with me so often that its a hassle to click it twice before they can get in.

I'll also have them turn on auto-unlock on shutdown. My first time passengers have enough trouble finding the handle inside, much less pulling it twice
