Offline | I had a great time at the show this afternoon. Just wanted to share with you the pics I took at the MINI display. I've noticed that the red from the pic didn't come out the way it should in real life. I have to blame my camera for that. My online album site is currently having some problems so I will just share with you a couple of pics for now. I will post the link to my album once the site is operational. Anyhow, enjoy MINI Display ![]() Stylish Indi Blue w/Aerokit ![]() DS Cooper S ![]() Cooper S sitting high above ![]() /k |

Offline | Too bad that color isn't accurate. That orange color that shows up in the picture is what I've wanted all along. A nice orange and white combo to match my motorcycle. ![]() |

Offline | Great pictures, I have a question is what are the orange and red strips on the wheel arches, reflectors/lights? Im getting an indi blue/white Cooper and originally wanted the clear rear lights but decided against them. Im still going for the clear side repeaters, but I thought the clear lights looked odd and didn't look as effective as on a silver MINI. MINIless since 2nd of June @12:35pm 2003 |

| MINI2 Master | Interesting to note that they are using EXACTLY the same promo style as Rover did when relaunching the Classic Mini in 1996 - the giant boxes with coloured edges are identical. Also sad to see that there is no reference to the Classic Mini and the MINI's history - or was there? |

Offline | thanks for the comments. As I said, I had a great time at the show this year since there was so much to see. I was busy running around taking pics until my battery died on me. If I find the time, I will post up the 300 other pics from the show. (that is if you all are interested in cars other than the MINI ) cheers |

Offline | Funny lookin' red and orange thingies on the arches Those are the reflectors currently required by U.S. department of Highway Safety. They do tend to lessen the clean look of the MINI, but its nice to know where the front and rear of a car on a side-street are. I guess the best thing about 'em is that they don't look half as bad in the flesh as they do when they are photographed with a flash. "Yield to Temptation, it may not pass your way again." Offline | ah... I am aware of that thread. Just that I didn't know what the acronym stood for in the first place and I do not know much about the Civic Type-R to chime in. thanks for valuing my camera and hopefully me. ![]() |
