Arrow New York Auto Show

I had a great time at the show this afternoon. Just wanted to share with you the pics I took at the MINI display. I've noticed that the red from the pic didn't come out the way it should in real life. I have to blame my camera for that. My online album site is currently having some problems so I will just share with you a couple of pics for now. I will post the link to my album once the site is operational. Anyhow, enjoy

Cool Too Bad

Too bad that color isn't accurate. That orange color that shows up in the picture is what I've wanted all along. A nice orange and white combo to match my motorcycle.

Have to agree about the orange. Although a nice orange/peach color shifting paint would work more wonders. Especially in Florida and California.

KarmanS, as usual, Fantastic Photo's. The colour just adds some variation.

Excellent, Thank you very much. I shall now go and check out your gallery, passing on the really good shots to other web sites, so they can post them up without any credit.....

Cheers.......

The pictures in your web site are great KarmanS. If only the Indi Blue was that colour, I would have gone for it like a shot.......

Thanks again for sharing mate

Great pictures, I have a question is what are the orange and red strips on the wheel arches, reflectors/lights?
Im getting an indi blue/white Cooper and originally wanted the clear rear lights but decided against them. Im still going for the clear side repeaters, but I thought the clear lights looked odd and didn't look as effective as on a silver MINI.

Like the clear lights, but what are those weird strips in the rear bumper (fender)? Don't like them

Great photos KarmanS, BTW, thanks a bunch for sharing these

Cooper S, Jet Black w/ white roof, silver 16" X-Lite wheels, DSC, MFSW, dark tinted windows

Exclamation

Interesting to note that they are using EXACTLY the same promo style as Rover did when relaunching the Classic Mini in 1996 - the giant boxes with coloured edges are identical.

Also sad to see that there is no reference to the Classic Mini and the MINI's history - or was there?

Thumbs up

thanks for the comments. As I said, I had a great time at the show this year since there was so much to see. I was busy running around taking pics until my battery died on me. If I find the time, I will post up the 300 other pics from the show. (that is if you all are interested in cars other than the MINI )

cheers

Those are the reflectors currently required by U.S. department of Highway Safety. They do tend to lessen the clean look of the MINI, but its nice to know where the front and rear of a car on a side-street are.
I guess the best thing about 'em is that they don't look half as bad in the flesh as they do when they are photographed with a flash.

ah... I am aware of that thread. Just that I didn't know what the acronym stood for in the first place and I do not know much about the Civic Type-R to chime in. thanks for valuing my camera and hopefully me.
