*Drum roll...............*

1000th post!

You all hate me. I am the clubs official post whore. Forget the photographer thing. I am forever known as post whore

My short time spent here has been wonderful. You have all been marvellously accomodating to a new user, with no reputation, with no MINI. And I have all of you to thank for both my post whoring, and all the club photographs that I do so much enjoy taking.

I have learnt much from the boards and made quite a few friends (I hope the feeling is mutual!).

Special thanks to Jason and Alan for personally offering me rides and the opportunity to tag along on these incredible drive days.

I could go on to thanks each one of you individually - in a seperate post

- but Ill just say that your time is much appreciated, and the devotion in the MINI2 community is like nothing else on the internet.

Long live the new MINI, MINI2 and my post whoring

Hi Scotty,

Congratulations,

As I said elsewhere, I doubt there is anyone else on the mini2 boards with 1000 posts who doesn't even own a mini

Hurry up and get a mini, at least then you will have to drive it, and that will slow you down to 10 posts a day

By the way, I actually logged on earlier today, and you weren't on the list of online people

I thought there must be some problem with the software

Seriously, thanls for all your input, photos, banter, questions etc

That really is quite alot of posts - especially in like a month and a half

Im trying as fast as I can!

Seriously though, its on the production line right now by all accounts - so it has begun

Hey guys!!

I havent been around for the weekend...

Out cruising. As I rolled into the driveway tonight, the odometer ticked over 5000km!!
(since march 3!)

Good to see you guys are still at it!!

Minigolf - I like your banner at the bottom of your posts... is this an indication of a future club logo??

What wheels are you planning on putting on? I noticed your profile says 'aftermarket'.

How do 'Viper' Stripes vary from the ones from the dealers? or is that just what you have nicknamed them. There is a yellow cooper in Melbouurne with some interesting stripes inspired by the Mini2 advertising and design layouts (like the website banner). The car has a black square outline down the side that turns up after the drivers door... interesting. I waved to the guy, he snobbed me!!

My wheels are an ongoing topic of debate with myself

At the moment it will be the standard items.

Originally, I was going to get some R90 lookalikes - hence, the aftermarket. Then decided Id get a different aftermarket wheel (the Sokudo 8). Then decided I would buy the official R90s when I found a potential buyer for my standard wheels. That didnt work out, so now Im sticking with the standards again
