Hello all.
this is my first post here. i wasn't going to go public with this, but after a week i can't stand it any longer. last Saturday i ordered a BRG/W MCS, and just had to tell someone. it will, i'm told, be in the May build, so hopefully i'll have it by July. which will be bittersweet, since at that time i'll have to sell or trade-in my beloved '03 PS/B Cooper. the Cooper has been super (?!), but there's just something about the sound and feel of the supercharger, the jump factor; after having driven it, it's difficult to go back. i considered waiting until the 05's are in production, but don't really see the point; there will always be a new/improved widget, and one can wait forever. but life short, so i jumped in. apropos nothing in particular, my experience with MINI has been overwhelmingly positive, by the way. for the price of admisssion i think there's nothing like it. quite frankly, i was never much of a "car guy", but the MINI has changed all that.

i think this a marvelous site, and i look forward to learning a great deal.
