Hi new member here just like to say hello and could you answer
me these questions,cheers.
Should i get a Mini and if so which good and bad for both models please.
Mini just for girls or not only ask because i only ever see girls in them!
How active is this forum
Lots of yanks on here true or not?
thats it thanks in advance see you soon ;0)
Should you get a MINI: Given that I'm here, I am predisposed to say yes.
Which: Depends on how soon you want it, how fast you want it, how expensive you want it, how much insurance you want to pay. In order of dollars and horsepower: One, Cooper, Cooper S. I'm going for an S, but that also means more of a wait.
Girls: I hope to see many girls in my MINI...
How active is this forum: Very very active. Lots of posts, lots of regulars.
Lots of Yanks: One speaking now, so yes. Not overwhelmingly North American or European though, a pretty fair split.
Happy Motoring...

Definatly get one........it doesnt matter which, as long as it has a MINI badge on it.
The Cooper has slightly better performance, and a few different bits of trim, but both can be specced to suit your wallet!
Not sure what the mix of male to female drivers is, but i would guess its about even.
The Forum is very active, i check it every day, and still miss some posts!
A few Americans........that are going to test the Cooper S for us brits, in the same way we tested the Cooper for them.
Welcome to MINI2
I would also be biased to the yes, get a MINI, answer as I have one
As for them being for girls?? All 3 of the MINIs that turned up last week for the regional meet at the Trafford Centre were driven by men, of the 3 that didn't turn up but were supposed to, 2 are driven by men, so the answer to that is no.
If you do get a MINI or just fancy seeing a few, come along to a Meet.
This board is VERY busy, mainly brits and yanks, but also others... join in the fun
Currently driving: Silver Volkswagen Lupo GTi, 6 speed, 125bhp

Should i get a Mini"
I had a test drive in a cooper, so wanted one, then a bloke called Colin of here (now a very good mate) took me for a spin (and later let me drive his) so now I need one! Trust me they may have a few faults that are being Ironed out but you should get one!!!
and if so which good and bad for both models please.
By Both I prsume you mean One or Cooper! Both are Ace, Cooper is just faster and you can get more things for it (sports suspension etc) But you can spec One's up preety high. I'd have to say Cooper Chilli is best bet, as you get good VFM if you can afford the extra wonga for the Cooper and Chilli pack.

So what theyre top! Not a girls car at all, the women in your area obviously have good taste

VERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are a lot of our Friends from over the sea but alas most of em I've talked to are sound enough. Plus they talk about Mini's and don't go into great length of why the Dodge Viper is better than a Ferrari unlike some other forums.
Your From Manchester! In that case Join us in the Mini2 Northwest meet. Thats when I got took for a test drive by Colin! hence I now need a Mini!
Hope you have fun and are not a fair weather Mini2 member (i.e. do 1 post and are never seen again)
This is the infamous colin I mentioned. And I was one of the "Men" driving a Mini....his as it happened! The mad bugger insured me on it for the day, and i was his Chauffer! I mena Mad or what! You'll have to price the wheel out of my hands with a crowbar!
