Offline | Courtesy Car... Took my MINI in this morning for a water problem. I asked them for a courtesy car, not knowing what they'll be giving me. Surprise surprise - turns out the local dealership has a fleet of 320i and 320d BMW courtesy cars - I got an almost new 320d A/T to drive around in for the day - brilliant car! So, what do you guys get when taking your MINI for a service? |

Offline | Last time my Mini was at the dealer I was given an 04 plate 320d Sport with a whole host of extras for the day and prior to that a 53 plate 325 Coupe, both with a quarter tank of petrol. Only ever once had a Mini - bright yellow One with black vipers. |

Offline | I got a brand new (600 mile) BMW 318i ES during my service a few weeks ago. Took it down the coast for the day, and delivered it back 145 miles later, which was lucky considering the milage "limit" was 150! I seemed to get through one hell of a lot of fuel for a smallish engine ![]() |

Offline | My former dealer wanted to charge £35 for the privilege of lending me a 318. I decided to get a lift there and back instead and have subsequently gone elsewhere for servicing and to buy my Convertible Cooper. |

Offline | Strikes me... ...that you guys either have (a) monster mileages and have therefore had more services or (b) lots of faults that need sorting, to have gone through so many courtesy cars. I've only had one service in 2 years and am on 16k miles with 12k indicated before the next one. I do need to go and get the "air-bag light always on" sorted (dodgy seatbelt pre-tensioner, apparently) but I've never got the time - I'm too busy enjoying the ride ! |
