Offline | MINI Colour Rational I'm completely purplexed about the introduction of Black-Eyed Purple at the expense of Indi Blue... It just doesn't make any sense to me that MINI's would be offered in TWO black colors -- but that the very handsome INDI BLUE would have to bite the dust. Seems logical that they'd want to cover as much of the waterfront as possible and two blacks seems so redundant. Has the fuss over Pepper White pretty much settled down... are people loving it now, or is it still regarded as less than manly? Interestly, the MINI International web site now has photos of the Black-Eyed Purple and it hardly looks like the photos of the convertable that showed up here... it looks much brighter... what's that about? You wouldn't even call it CLOSE to the photos on MINI2... or at least I wouldn't: it's on the MINI International site under INNOVATIONS under Customization... |

Offline | i can't get the MINI website to open at school- no flash plug in ![]() the only thing i wondered was whether you were looking at hyper blue rather than the black-eyed purple? oh and the fuss over pepper white has not subsided it's still a great colour. and can definitely be considered as unisex, there was a post about this in the general forum a couple of days ago... take a look in some of the galleries it looks fantastic on an MCS ![]() |

Offline | [quote=The new hyper blue is pretty close to indi blue, just a little lighter.[/QUOTE] And Black-Eye Purple--if the UK site configurator is accurate--is fairly close to Indi Blue, just some purple mixed in. What a Sexxxxxyy color tho! And I'm an Indi Blue nut!! Jimbo |

Offline | according to a post in another thread from another knowledgable Mini-ite, BEP here in the US will be known as "Purple Haze." Whether this is true remains to be seen. Wow, like seein' colors, MAN COLORS "acting funny, but I dont know why, 'scuse me, while Kiss the Sky..." |
