MINI Clubs has been running a 'Clubs Logo Competition' during April in an attempt to find a logo that best represents MINI Owners and their Club. All entries had to be submitted by 6pm May 1st '04 (EST). The following posts are the submissions made by a number of Owners/MINI2ers and we are now looking to poll these to find the top three entries.

You can read the submission requirements here.

The top three submissions as voted by MINI2er's recieve a A$200 MINI Lifestyle Gift Voucher. These three submissions will then be forward to BMW Australia who will then submit to BMW AG on MINI Clubs behalf. The one that gets approved by BMW AG will be declared the winner and will recieve a A$1500 MINI Lifestyle Gift Voucher. If two or three are approved MINI Clubs Committee will make the final decision. If none are approved by BMW AG the prize will be shared equally among the final three submissions to BMW AG.

We would like to ask MINI2ers to vote on their favourite submission. All submissions are posted under the contributors name and there were no restrictions on the number of submissions an individual could enter. Each submission is numbered 1 - 49 and has the name of the entry at the bottom of each pic..

Voting Closes on May 16.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to announcing the finalists on May 21st.

Fantastic designs. Some are more suitable however for logo production. Well done to all our creative geniuses!

I don't know if this is open to all clubs -- Australian clubs seem to dominate. But here are a few logos for the SouthTexas MINI club. I cannot claim credit for them; they were done by other Club members.

sorry AmRov, as mentioned in the first post [& linked original thread] this competition is for MINI.CLUBS Australia [www.miniclubs.com.au]... that may explain why every design references Australia!

voters should also consider reading the first post on the original thread for logo / competition requirements before voting!

there's definitely no need to apologise AmRov!

i think the point of having the poll here is that we get the opinions of those in the broader MINI2 community, i just think it's important that people realise what the competition is about & what the club is actually after in terms of a logo!

I think this thread was originally posted in the Aussie section, and then moved. Either way it does not really seem to be generating a lot of votes at this stage.
