im not crazy about the new headlights and back light treatment just curious too see who likes or doesnt like them

Backlights are ok. Fronts looks way to aggresive for a MINI. Would look nice on an M3 though(the bulbs)

I could care less about the new-look lights, tho I did vote "Like," mostly because of the clear optics. I'm more interested in the G2 S's supercharger/exhaust upgrades and shorter gear ratios. That's what driving is all aboot,

not the aesthetics of the lights (although yes they look like they belong on an M#.) Jimbo

It's the second major reason that pushed me to order a mini instead of waiting a little longer. It seems all the brands are going to these spaceship-looking headlights. They even put them on my fathers new '05 Ford Escape! Spaceship headlights look fitting on something like the 350z, but they don't fit with the classic euro design of the Mini!

Hopefully I'll be able to retrofit some of the interior and performance changes though.

Am I allowed to like the look of them but not want them??

I'm not to keen on the back lights but I think the front ones look great! But I'm picking up my 04 baby in 2 weeks so I get the same look as my current Cooper! I have to agree with an earlier reply - they are to futuristic for the MINI design!
