My replacement for my MCS!

It just aint Cricket!!

Little cute car but it just aint the same as my MCS

Gona have to wait til Wednesday!!

God i miss the sports seats, sat nav, handling/suspension that breaks you in two and the oh so sweet whine of the sooooopercharger.

Just to let you know my Mar 04 went back to the dealer to sort out a chip in the bumper that was there to greet me on pick up day!

At least you got a nice colour!

Mines been back in a couple of times recently, I had a yellow MINI One for two days then when I finally got my car back it wouldn't lock so I had to call MINI emergency service. I ended up with a hire car, it was a Vauxhall Meriva - yuck.

Very nice colour indeed! Just the one I've ordered ( might change to BEP or HB if I like them at he NEC show).

That sucks that your car had a scratch the day it came.

dont be so picky its still a MINI. some folks own and cherish their MINI Ones. theres nothing wrong with them

i was offered a courtesy car of a Nissan Micra. In the end i settled for an Vectra.

ohhh geez a micra is low man

i once had one when my VTR was in bodyshop as some fcker knicked my Snooper S5

Micra's are bad - it is definately a Mr Blobby car without question!!

The worst for me when i had one as a courtesy car i was sat a traffic lights and this guy pulled up next to me in a gleaming micra and gave me the look that was "yeah you own a micra too" - i had to laugh and the guy was probably thinking what the

??

I so wanted to say its not mine but the car had keep fit windows ie not electric so i didnt fancy stretching for the lever, i wanted to get out to explain to him it aint mine - i looked for the courtesy car sticker but there was none - funny thing was tho i still went into Schumacher mode and the the Murray Walker GO! GO! GO! came out in me.

About 30 seconds later having reached about 25mph i just stopped accelerating and laughed my ballz off!!!!

Anyway my one is with me for one more day actually technically two but then the joke wouldnt have worked

Respect to those One drivers guys you got patience

Why do we have patience??

I never realised there was any snobbery on this site, until I read this thread. All mini drivers should be treated the same wether they have a one a diesel, cooper or cooper s. The mini one is a lovely car and I wouldn't be without mine!!

I use Abi's One quite often for short trips, or for some slidy edge of your seat fun around the lanes. Big grins.

most UK BMW garages use MINI Ones as courtesy cars simply bec`ause of the cost value involved (not being disrespectful). i myself took my MCS back to the garage and as all the One's were out, they gave me the demo cooper, but this wasnt a problem because its not a bad car atall to be seen in..... rather a sexy MINI of any type (there all sexy) than some other monstrosity of a car (eg. daewoo/kia or even a subaru impreza wrx sti - the real scum of the road)

Although I admit your Cooper S is better, the One is still a lot of fun too.

Especially if you live in the countryside and spend all your time going round bends.

Do we forgive you that is what I ask? There is nothing wrong with the MINI One.....us One drivers love our cars and don't like reading such remarks! The One couldn't possibly live up to the MCS but it is not trying to! I hope you will retract your remark!
