MINI2

Have you noticed that many people tend to treat MINIs like they're celebrities (not their owners, but the cars themselves)? I picked up my CR/W MC about a month ago and, since then, I've noticed some people seem to be, well, overly impressed by it.

As an example, when I picked up my (thirteen-year-old) daughter at the roller rink last Friday, one friend of hers there asked if she could "just sit in the MINI." She didn't ask for a ride; just sitting in it was enough. She gushed over the speedometer, etc., then declared it was her "very favorite car."

As for the two friends of my daughter's who actually got rides in the car to their homes, they squealed with delight as we pulled away and one of them said, in an awed tone, "We're actually riding in a MINI Cooper!"

Does anyone else have similar stories?

Had mine for over a year and a half, Kids do love the car, sometimes they make the pulling on a string motion, like when your trying to get a Semi to honk, I wish my MINI had a air horn, makes you smile, doesnt it?
