how many miles were on the clock when u picked up your mini?

12.1 km's on mine. much more than that and I would have queried it.

40km but that included two trips to the window tinters and some other stuff

Usually they are about 12-14km in Aus

any come with a full tank of petrol. I said to my dealer I will buy the mini now if you fill it up for me . and he agreed.

Mine had a full tank.... But on my invoice there was an "Extra delivery Charge" of £30..... I think i may as well have stopped at shell on the way home from picking it up.

Yeah my car did come with the big bow on it.... How embarrasing.... LOL

It arrived on my birthday - so they surprised me by wrapping it up.

I think that only applies for miniusa.

Here, in the uk, you just have to speak to your dealer.

Mine originally gave me a date of 16/05/04 for delivery. A week after my order was placed, i was told that they had tried to push it for my birthday and told me i would get it on 16/04/04 and thats the date i recieved it.
