Offline | apparently our MINI2 group had a bit of a bad day. Telephone conversations with Trainman stated the following. No injuries caused. This is not relates to the above incident. But Rasp's Sons MINI was rear ended on route and Rasp's MINI's Cooler expansion tank exploded on the route. If these statements are incorrect, please let me know. I am going on telephone conversations and other MINI2'ers information. We had an accident free day on ridgeway run, appart from a few rabbits ![]() |

Offline | Almost correct scooperman, Garth was rear ended by a couple of Germans, not to much damage but trying to sort things with them was a bit of a job if not only for us but for the police aswell, as for my problem it was not the expansion tank it was the moron that mini sent out to investigate, did not have a clue, if he had a brain he would be f****** dangerous, thanks again to mini 2 when I got home I logged on to get some aunswers and there they wer, It was a blown 5amp fuse on the engine management system for the sender unit on the fan and apparently a common fault so keep a couple of spares in your car, BMW know the mini overheats so easy without the fan so surely it would make sense for there tecs to carry them on board and indeed for there tecs to know of the problem, although I dont know what caused the fuse to blow what I did notice and am wondering if anyone else noticed was the huge bump on the A23 southbound a couple of miles from the J11 services, I thought my wheels wer gone for sure...and it was only a short way further on when it overheated... |
