Sorry and yes I know there are several threads on the subject, but does anyone know whether cars being built now are having the new Getrag box fitted or is starting for cars built around July?

The new 5 speed getrag gearbox for cooper and one models will go into production from the first week in july.

Although some cabrios have already been built and we were led to believe these would all have the new gearbox

The Convertibles to, the hatchbacks dont.

Is that suppose to read 'the convetibles do'? As in the convertibles all have the new gearbox?

Am I right in thinking the hardtop one and cooper will have the new getrag box from July production?

Yes it is supposed to mean that!

You're correct that the hatchback will start in July with the getrag.
