| Let's Motor. | What do you guys think? Well, many know, that the aero side skirts don't have any sill plates. So I thought I'd take advantage of this with a small little mod I thought of a couple months ago. I took the COOPER S lettering off the back, purchased another set of COOPER S lettering and this is what I've come up with. I think it looks great. Came out really well. ![]() What do you guys think? -Adam |

Offline | Nice idea Adam. My 2¢. Center it in the opening or even a slight offset in the center. Here's why; With the lettering biased all the way to one end or the other it will make it very obvious that the red S is pushed close to your A or B pillar door frame. It'll look squished or unbalanced. Push the same lettering out towards the center and it will be much less noticeable. |_________ ..................|______________| | Cooper S ....and.........|.....Cooper S......| ________ |.............|_______________| Cooper S |.....and...|......Cooper S.......| Lame I know. Offline | Nicely done! ![]() As for my .02, I think the placement is great, as they're out of the way of your feet when you get in & out. Less chance of scuffing them up. (Some people are just anal about symmetry... )Cheers, DW ![]() |

| Let's Motor. | Thanks guys. The letters come pre-aligned, theres a sticky piece of plastic ontop of the letters that holds them in place, you just peal the backing off and stick them down. They're self adhesive. (Word of caution: once those puppies get put on, they ain't coming off without a fight.) As for the door closing, I checked into it and there is more than enough clearance, so that isn't a problem. They fit nicely in the door jam, and I think theres maybe half an inch or so to spare. I like the positioning of them now, and even if I wanted to change them, its too late. -Adam |

Offline | Thanks a whole bunch. When I had boot stripes put on they took the lettering off and reapplied it with 3M tape and cracked the S in half. It looks so tacky. I have to buy news letters. thanks again Tavis1 ![]() ![]() "There can be only one" |
