Hi all,

We've been to the dealer today and made some pics of our EB/W One D.
The dealer painted the roof and mirror caps white.
We're going to pick him (the MOD, not the dealer

) up monday

I guess this is the first EB Diesel on this site...looking good, doesn't he?

Why did the dealer have to paint the roof and mirrors?

Because you can't order a One or a One D with white or black contrasting roof

Oh. We don't get the One here, just the Cooper and Cooper S. I don't know if we'll get the diesel, diesel isn't popular in Oz.

so germany get e/b on the 04 model? or havent they changed the bumpers on the 05 diesel

It's not only in Germany, but also here in Belgium, and in a lot of other countries on the European mainland, EB was no longer a Cooper S exclusive color at the '04 model.

I'm most likely kidding myself when I figure color will be the last choice to be nailed down on the order sheet, because EB/W is probably my favorite

Hey, at least you guys get the Deisel!! Here in America, according to BMW, they don't feel that there's a big enough market for it yet!!

You've got to be kidding! No market for a MINI that gets 58 MPG!!??
They would sell just as fast, if not faster than the regular minis.
They can't keep the deisel Beetles in stock.

If they would have offered one, it would have been my model of choice. Maybe for our next MINI, we'll get a Deisel convertible!! (in 5 years or so)

That is one gorgeous Mini - well done! It's the first time I've seen electric blue on one that's not an S, I always thought the intake scoop rather spoils the look of the S and after seeing your new Mini my thoughts are confirmed. That front end looks SO elegant and sleek in EB. This is the first time I've been jealous on the forum!
