I currently have a new Cooper on order for September and am having a colour crisis.

I originally ordered in Electric Blue with white bonnet stripes although now there are pictures of Black Eyed Purple around I am being swayed.

I have always been a fan of Indie Blue and this looks quite similar.

Any ideas which looks cooler?

I love Electric Blue, but think Black-Eye Purple will be cooler.

IMO. Anyway the name Black Eyed Purple reminds me of a broken nose.

I'm also undecided about the colours, at first I wanted EB, then I saw the new colours and can't make up my mind about BEP or HB, i'm hoping some kind people who are off to the motorshow will take some pics and post them up next week - hint, hint

I still see EB cars on the road and think they look smooth, at least i've got 5months left to make up my mind or go out of it trying to decide

EB all the way baby yeah!!

My september due cooper is EB. Take a look at the motor show mate. Ypu'll have time to change your mind if needed.

I'm sort of in the same position

I ordered a new cooper for september and went for EB as I know I like the colour. Seems to suit the mini imho.
I still want to see some more pics of BEP and suppose I can chnage my order if I wanted but think I'm sticking with EB/W.

im in the same situ, with red or silver! and the cooper is on orer for sept also! ARRGH> in your case, id say EB. dont like the black eyed purple that much!

Defo Electric Blue.

Loads of people always comment on the colour of my MCS. It will look cleaner for longer than BEP too. IMO BEP looks too similar to Indy Blue.

I've just ordered BEP. I always loved IB and I think BEP looks a lot like IB, especially away from direct sunlight. On the color sample at my dealer I actually liked BEP a bit more than IB.

Sorry for all the EB-guys, but I think EB looks a little girlish and more trendy.

hello!
The dealer near me has a BEP tin top in at the mo... had a look at it the other evening... personally i aint too keen... thought it looked too in ur face and a little girly... being a girl myself... it must be very girly!

i cant really say i like the EB either as i think both the EB and BEP are colours i would bore of quickly and get sick of looking at!.. don't get me wrong, the COLOURS are nice... just not sure if i'd opt for either!,,,IMOH!..... sorry if i've offended anyone, but each to their own n all that!

We'll find out soon.
More and more people will be getting these 2 colours soon on the cooper so more pics will be online in the next few weeks

Personally I've gone for EB / W, like it every time i see it

Electric Blue for life! Especially with a black roof, aero kit, bonnet stripes. Oh yeah, that's what mine is! LOL! But I don't think BEP could come close to it.

I really liked Indi Blue.

Don't think I've seen Black Eye Purple in real life, but from the photos I've seen I don't like it as much as Indi Blue.

Electric Blue is absolutely wonderful. It really does look like a Kingfisher.

A bit girlie they say? *** that, don't let it put you off

Triumph recently sold a Speed Triple (the most aggressive looking bike they sell) in a shade of nail varnish pink called "Nuclear red". Very popular and it looked great.

Electric Blue - go for it.

You've hit on the all time best MINI colour combination. I know that you've thought of silver, or red and black combination but red and white is as good as it gets. Not that I'm biased or anything!

Just make sure you order those white bonnet stripes for total perfection
