Offline | They're really exciting if not a little expensive!! Basically what i've done is sent them to the news department at MINI2 to make sure they make it into a proper news item. I hope you all enjoy the new colours, they are going to be seriously rare!! I'll give you one sneek preview of a colour and it's called Kolibri! |

Offline | I have to admit we all got so excited in the showroom when they arrived. I forced one my collegues to put them up straight away. Our smiles dropped when we say the price though!! If I had the money i'd get my september production MINI in Python! But I won't tease you anymore. ![]() |

Offline | Very good, but my wallet's burning at the thought... Clearly MINI's making you pay a premium for stepping out of the normal paint que.. I'd think you'd be able to get such a job aftermarket for GBP3500! the factory warranty can't be worth that much extra. Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |

Offline | Yes I have quoted the prices to MINI2, I am sure they will explain once they get more news of these. That is me in the pictures, the sun was shining hard and it was difficult to see what I was taking so I apologise for my quality of photos. It's a bit difficult on the naming of our Dealer or even my Name. I mean these colours could actually be months from launching but there is nothing to say we can't put them up yet! I'll be working over this weekend inc. Bank Holiday Monday, and it will be interesting to see what people think. I'm more interested in the opinions of current owners rather than the time wasters! Vulcano and Python are by far the best colours. As you can imagine when we opened them we thought we had our new MINI colours. Amethyst we thought was Black Eyed Purple and Python we thought was Cool Blue - but something didn't click, the colours were a bit too mad!! Everything was soon indentified when Kolibri and Vulcano popped out! In the letter accompanying the samples, it showed a MINI Cooper S in the Python paint finish and I have to say I was a tad dissapointed. Although I do bare in mind that it's very difficult to photograph a pearlescent colour. If I can I will try and get hold of the Cooper S images so I can show you! ![]() |

Offline | 3500GBP is 6,454.63 USD, would you actually pay that much (or even $3500) to have a car in a flip color? I just can't imagine it selling well here, in the UK there's so many more MINIs per person, so I can see the interest in being unique, but egad is that an expensive option. Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |
