Offline | im sort of in the process of making a site, and trying to build up a local community for us MINI folk, http://nem.howway.co.uk only problem is, i have to start uni again (next week) to refresh my coding skills, and intergrate php to it, so i can post news etc. Just might have to change the name of it, as northeastminiclub might not be too happy...but i didnt realise ![]() |

Offline | keep it up mate, while I'm not a great lover of regional clubs and prefer the established "old faces' and runs >lets see where your thoughts go. Perhaps it would be a good time to focus on the club and the site and have a 'start point' or baptism with its first run - [ including Mini2ers Northern Mob of course } say in Late January and do the Northumberland Borders Run. Put me down as a "member" ![]() |

Offline | I don't see it as a problem. The more the merrier I say, as there's barely any 'clubs' in the north east. I know we're about the only one that organises an event, so if there's someone else willing to give it a go, I'll be more than pleased! We do have MINIs as well as minis and as mentioned they're all welcome at the show and as members. As mutual backscratching goes, we can even add a link to your site to ours if you like...? |

Offline | shall do, i need to damnwell finish it first tho. Just aint really had this time...what with washing my car, working and such. ill ask some friends of mine to see if they can help me sort my site out. Yer taz, the localisation does not mean we would seperate off, the community and top quality runs that happen around the country are too good to miss. But the opertunity for those who live up here, and fancy the occasional (every 2 month or so) get together at a pub, or are up for some small runs, the localisation of a specificly(is this a word...my spelling is horrid) north eastern club would be of huge benefit. Anyhow, ill get the site up and running (eventually), then we'll see. |

Offline | ok, no probs. To be honest, although I originally designed our site, it's one of our members that maintains it now. The problem we have is quantity of content than anything else, and the amount of things that we can run, because our ISP, being free for domain name & webspace, only allows limited scripts to be run... ![]() |
