I thought about that too. I know id always be wanting the S convertable and at the end of the day id rather have an S than than a cooper convertable. I think id miss the power to much and it'd be like going back a step.
I also thought about this-Power wouldn't bother me so much by doing a Step down-Only thing putting me off is being called a Hair dresser!!
Also the Big downside with the Cabrio is it looks Pants when your driving about with the roof UP-
Have to agree - hairdresser with under powered car
I like the convertable it does look good could only ever have a JCW S or an S model but (haviing had a convertable in the past) It's great to have the roof down at the moment but after maybe another 3 or 4 weeks of the year, the rest of the time it will be up due to crap British weather Anyone ever tried driving with a parker on and the hood up when its fully zipped up - good job they have parking sensors as you wont see a dam thing with the hood up.
I am thinking about it since a couple of days.
Wanna wait till i can see all the colour combinations in the flesh.
I fancy the hot orange with a blue roof.
I got worried there for a moment Robbert. When you put MCC, I thought you meant a MCC Smart.
Anyway. Convertible MINI? Well your career at Toni & Guy must really be taking off.
There is just one moon and one golden sun; And a smile mean friendship to ev'ryone; Through the mountains divide, and the oceans are wide; It's a small world after all.
I went to my dealer last night in Farnborough and was told the wait for any Convertible goes into March next year... is this the same around the country?
By the end of September when the weather is getting bad and the noisy, cold roof is up .... then your'll be missing ur MCS. Personally I would only consider a convertable as a second car in this country (UK) but I can't say I know what the weather is like in the Netherlands .... any better?

Er........excuse me Mr Martin......I am the weal Wobert......I'll accept no imposters.......thank-you!
TBH the extra 100kgs that the cabrio weights will pull the power to weight down too much......my MCS flies along the roads I commute along.......less power would be a problem methinks.
