When are you buying, will it an '05 model (which is July 1st BUILD onwards) or will you be getting is sooner?

Since the '03 build to the new '05 build you'll have a complete new and different gearbox. It feels quite different to the old box too, more like a cross between the current MINI One box and the Cooper S box. I assume you've seen the new bumper and other changes (inside and out) detailed in the news section (www.mini2.com/news) apart from those, it's still much the same car, but (should be) better built.

I'm hoping it's better built. Although I haven't had any problems with my car, i have read about alot on here.
What did you make of the new gear box then Paul?
Have you tried it in a standard cooper or just in the convertible so far?

Just in some Convertbles, but I like it. Then again, I much prefer the S box to the Cooper/One box anyway, and I know several people don't agree on that one! It's a cross between the two really.
