Offline | When are you buying, will it an '05 model (which is July 1st BUILD onwards) or will you be getting is sooner? Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

Offline | Since the '03 build to the new '05 build you'll have a complete new and different gearbox. It feels quite different to the old box too, more like a cross between the current MINI One box and the Cooper S box. I assume you've seen the new bumper and other changes (inside and out) detailed in the news section (www.mini2.com/news) apart from those, it's still much the same car, but (should be) better built. ![]() Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Offline | I'm hoping it's better built. Although I haven't had any problems with my car, i have read about alot on here. What did you make of the new gear box then Paul? Have you tried it in a standard cooper or just in the convertible so far? ![]() |

Offline | Just in some Convertbles, but I like it. Then again, I much prefer the S box to the Cooper/One box anyway, and I know several people don't agree on that one! It's a cross between the two really. Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |
