Offline | It looks like it may end up looking more "mini" like if they do raise the bonnet profile like that (for the new engine). ![]() Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

Offline | Think the wider might be an illusion with the new bonnet profile and lights pushed lower and further out. Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

| Jay | As with the old mini, the Mk I is the most sought after and the priciest, the Mk2 is valuable too, but this brought a squared off grille and larger tail lights... I wonder if the tail lights on the new mini MK 2 are bigger... the grille is different for sure [center] ![]() iCkLeJaY awaits his Mini adventure... Driving Test Yet to be passed JayT |

![]() Man about the house | It doesn't look much different to the current model - hardly different enough to be labelled Mk2 (or Mk 5 if you include classic?) I thought the higher bonnet would be due to new legislation regarding the increased gap between the engine and the bonnet to protect pedestrians in collisions rather than anything else. D-lite-full |

Offline | Sometime I wonder if the 3-door hatchback and convertible will remain on the current chassis and a new 5-door hatch back and other new larger and more expensive variations will be built on the BMW 1-series and be RWD with an AWD option. |
